Red Mountain Used Brick & Reclaimed Flooring is one of the countries leaders in the reclamation
and sale of antique building material

In 2001, the founder, Jonathan Gross, began buying antique brick from demolition projects.
His crews cleaned, stacked and palletized these historic bricks, which were then sold and
shipped throughout the United States and overseas. As demand grew, Red Mountain expanded its operation to include the actual deconstruction of retired mills and factories.

Unlike traditional demolition, deconstruction involves a slower, hands-on approach to
dismantling these historic facilities, insuring the preservation of materials that
would otherwise end up in landfills. 

The beautiful antique timbers and flooring, along with turn of the century brick and architectural artifacts harvested from these mills and factories, provide a product line of historic, one-of-a-kind building materials. As interest in ‘Green Building’ grows, Red Mountain, with multiple deconstruction projects in progress, provides a link between the natural beauty of reclaimed materials and the responsible reuse of recycled products.
